The latter weeks of May and June are quite hot so it is better to avoid going to this place during this time.
If you are heading to Rishikesh by air, the nearest airport is the Jolly Grant airport at Dehradun. One can seamlessly also find taxis moving to and from these two places. You can also reach this place by bus as Rishikesh comes with a good network of buses connecting it with important cities such as Dehradun, Haridwar, and New Delhi. If going by train, the nearest rail station is in Haridwar, which is about 25km away. If you are self-driving, Rishikesh is well-connected to different Indian cities through the National Highway 58. You may also prefer to take a taxi.
